Panacea Eco: supporting Tree Appeal

PANACEA INVENTORY LTD IS COMMITTED TO HELPING TO PROTECT THE ENVIRONMENT.

Panacea Eco was established to enable Panacea Inventory to contribute to projects that make a real difference. As a result we have partnered with The Tree Appeal and have committed to planting 100 trees over the next year.

The Tree Appeal aims to improve the biodiversity of the environment by planting broad-leaved, deciduous trees. Trees provide habitats for insects, birds and animals and very welcome retreats in our everyday environment.

Trees also absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere as food to develop their trunks, branches, leaves and roots, while releasing oxygen back into the air. Trees shading your home and office buildings have been shown to reduce air conditioning needs by up to 30%. Trees also reduce urban pollution.

Many schools and colleges support the scheme, planting trees on school grounds, in parks, and in existing woodland, using trees provided by corporate partners such as us.

As David Bellamy, supporter of the scheme, says, “Trees are solar powered, self-repairing, protectors of landscapes and lifestyles.” We’ll be letting you know when our tree plantings take place and following them up over the years.
